Traditional Animation Training Days - Part II

We'll Miss You on Disney XD except We'll see your re-runs on
The Disney Channel, Phineas and Ferb!
(I Was SO Disgusted that "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero" replaced
"Phineas and Ferb" after it turns out that "Act Your Age"
(pictured above to your left) and 2 more episodes will be
Phineas and Ferb's LAST episodes!!!)
Not Only I Am Celebrating 65 Years of The 1950 Disney Animated Classic entitled "Cinderella" but, of course, This is Part Two of My Journal on My Own "Traditional Animation Training Days"!    I'm Busy Working on My Tradigital Animated Student Cartoon entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" whose key drawings are drawn on pencil and paper except the in-between drawings were done on computer using this software called "Adobe Flash", (I Like both "DigiCel FlipBook" and "Toon Boom" as alternatives to "Adobe Flash"!) I Did start with the storyboard sketches circa Autumn 2014 as my chance to revive my shelved concept of "Mike and Michelle's Perfect Date" which was "shelved" until further notice but, this time, the shelved project is now turned into a student cartoon entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" for Animator's Sake!
The Supplies I Needed for The Making of "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" are -- 12 RED Prismacolor "Col-Erase" Pencils for the ruffs, 12 Palomino "Blackwing 602" Pencils ("Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed") and 12 Dixon "Ticonderoga" Pencils to tie down the drawings, (Or more Ticonderoga Pencils?) A Battery-Operated Pencil Sharpener, Tons of 12-Field ACME-Punched Animation Paper from Light Foot, A Box of Superfine PaperMate Flair Felt-Tip Pens for the clean-up drawings, "Adobe Photoshop" software, "Adobe Flash" software and MORE YET TO COME!!!    I Sure Felt Sorry for Phineas and Ferb that their Emmy Award-winning Disney TV Cartoon Series are planned to be cancelled after three last episodes starting with "Act Your Age" to make room for newer Disney TV cartoons such as "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero", "Star vs. The Forces of Evil" and others including Disney XD's "Future Worm" and Disney Junior's "The Lion Guard" but, lucky for Phineas and Ferb, I Think they're coming up with a DVD Boxed Set of All 4 Seasons like when Disney Afternoon Fans wrote a petition to have Disney release "Kim Possible - The Complete 3rd and 4th Seasons" on DVD Boxed Set, this time, in Widescreen as originally showcased on 16x9 Widescreen TV Monitors.  Well, Some Student from Concord Schools named Jesse did "perfectly wonderful" on the digital background painting (see picture below to your right) and, yes, Jesse will also be the head of digital in-betweening and animation coloring using "Flash" software.
An Example of a Digital Background Painting of
the "South BancyVille Roller Rink and Arcade Center"
Entrance as digitally colorized by Jesse
(Notice the "accidental mistake" on the face and inner ears of
South BancyVille Roller Rink and Arcade Center's mascot
Pascal the Pastel Green Mouse!)

Even Though I'm planning the upcoming Bancy Studio renovation and that 8-minute hand-drawn animated BancySCOPIX 3D cartoon, I'll make sure that "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" will be in production by the time Jesse graduates from Concord Schools on May 2015 and, that way, the post-production work will be entered after a lot of animating, scanning, in-betweening, coloring and lip-synching!

MICHAEL A. IGAFO-TE'O
