Watch Out, Joy! - A Cartoon Whodunit Situation

CREATED on Wednesday, May 13th, 2015

Believe It or Not, I've Just Found Out that my rumor for my trip to that IMAX theater in Lansing, Michigan was that "IF All Else FAILS for Me to buy those tickets to see that new PIXAR movie entitled "Inside Out", IF that movie sells out before Friday, August 7th, 2015 when Aardman Animations' "Shaun the Sheep The Movie" replaces "Inside Out" on the same day as August 7th, 2015,...

THE PLAUGE OF WILDEBEEST (Better known as the dreaded "Wildebeest Stampede") WILL HAUNT ME IN MY SLEEP CREATING A TERRIFYING CARTOON NIGHTMARE WHERE IF JOY GETS KILLED IN A WILDEBEEST STAMPEDE BY THAT "ANIMAL CATCHER" CHARACTER FROM "SHAUN THE SHEEP THE MOVIE", I'LL END UP CRYING IN MY TEARS AFTER WAKING UP FROM SUCH A TERRIBLE NIGHTMARE DURING SUMMER 2015 AND I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY LONGER BECAUSE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Pre-Summer Bliss on May 2015

CREATED On Tuesday, May 5th, 2015 at 7:48 P.M.

The "Ex-CEL-ent" News is that "Joy" the Plushie and the 11-Inch Minnie Mouse "Tsum-Tsum" Plushie has been already purchased by because my Bancy plushie, well, a 12-Inch Mid-1990's Mickey Mouse Plushie named "Bancy McMouser II", needed a plushie girlfriend and Cuddles, Jr. and his twin sister, Fluffy (Two 3-1/2-Inch Mickey and Minnie "Tsum-Tsum" Plushies) needed a mother named "Debbie" to go with their father named "Cuddles, Sr." for "animator's sake"!  Also, I'm Can't Wait to see Disney & PIXAR's "Inside Out" on the BIG screen (Rather at the IMAX theater in Lansing, Michigan or at one of the two multiplex cinemas in Jackson, Michigan) and, in August 2015, I'll also see "Shaun the Sheep The Movie, produced by Aardman Animations, this time, under international independent film distribution guaranteed by StudioCanal, at one of Jackson Crossing Mall's two opposite multiplex cinema chains - the "Goodrich Jackson 10 Cinema" located at the Crossing and the "Carmike Plaza 8 Cinema" across from the mall itself - and I'M VERY HAPPY THAT JOY AND THE OTHER "INSIDE OUT" CAST AS PLUSHIES ARE FINALLY RELEASED ONLINE AT THE DISNEY STORE!!!

Also, The BAD NEWS was that, after failing to catch a re-run of Kim Possible, there was an allusion to Hanna-Barbera's "Wacky Races" cartoon on the "Phineas and Ferb" episode entitled "My Sweet Ride" where the Flynn-Fletcher family and their friends are dressed up in their 50's outfits in celebration of the Danville Doo-Wop Car Show and, as I type on my keyboard, the blame was on "The Jetsons" so, you know what?!  I'M BACK TO MY OLD SELF AS SUPREME RULER ON HATING THE JETSONS... FOREVER!!!  Luckily, I had made a cel painting of Joy at the Disney Studio courtyard that was commissioned by Kelsey Ilene-Cummings (Bashy's girlfriend and the daughter of Rachel Zaracki-Cummings!!) And, well, that is all I wrote!

Whatever Happend to Joy Anderson? - My NEW Fanfic Interview with Bancy McMouser

Created on Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 on 3:10 A.M.
Whatever happened to that "Pre-Release" sneak preview of Disney & PIXAR's "Inside Out" during
"The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards" at 8pm on Sunday, April 26th, 2015, after was REPLACED by
a different PIXAR flick entitled "Brave"...  THAT PROBLEM MEANT "TO DIE FOR"!!!
Before Bancy McMouser and I begin our "imaginary interview", let me do the talking first, please!...

...I WAS SO OFFENDED -- TO MY TEARS -- THAT A RIVAL STUDIO'S HALF GHOST/HALF TEENAGER CHARACTER (Butch Hartman's "Danny Phantom" for Butch Hartman's "Billionfold Studios" under authorities of Nickelodeon Animation Studios) NEARLY ATTACKED JOY (The Blue-Haired Joyful Female Emotion from Disney & PIXAR's "Inside Out") AND SHE WAS SENT TO THE HOLLYWOOD HOSPITAL'S TOON DIVISION BECAUSE OF THAT "DANNY PHANTOM" CHARACTER'S ATTEMPTED ACT OF "ASSAULT ON FEMALE" THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH SO, BECAUSE I MUST'VE THOUGHT SHE WAS DEAD, I WAS CRYING MY TEARS OUT!!!
(Either that or The Crying also happened as I could barley hear the sound of Act One of "The Grand Canyon Suite" being played in my head!)

Alright, ENOUGH TOON-SLAUGHTER COMMENTS!!! BANCY, LET'S GET ON WITH THIS INTERVIEW, DOGGONE IT!!!
----
Michael Igafo-Te'o - "Bancy, WHAT THE HELL DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF ABOUT THAT RIVAL TOON'S ATTEMPTED ATTACK ON JOY?!?"
Bancy McMouser - "SHUT UP!!! You Know We HATE Danny Phantom for Crying Out Loud!"
Michael Igafo-Te'o - "...And, In Order to 'Beat Up' Danny Phantom, We've Ditched His Show for that "SpongeBob" cartoon due to the humor in "SpongeBob" for Animator's Sake!!!"
Bancy McMouser - "I KNEW IT!!! You're Right!! We Ditched "Danny Phantom" for "SpongeBob" because the humor in that "SpongeBob" cartoon is, it's on the tip of my tongue, Oh, Yes... [grabs his creator, Michael Igafo-Te'o, by his shirt collar] DANGEROUSLY FUNNY!!!"
Michael Igafo-Te'o - [forces Bancy to let go of his shirt collar] "Well, [chuckles] that's right! My Brother, Sebastian -- also known as "Bashy" -- is right... SpongeBob is DANGEROUSLY FUNNY!! Funny Enough to 'Tickle Your Funny Bone'!!!"
[Then Bancy and his creator, Michael Igafo-Te'o, laugh themselves silly by watching the camping episode of "SpongeBob" where Squidward gets attacked off-screen by the Sea-Bear, just to make Michael and Bancy laugh themselves silly that is!]

Signed,
MICHAEL IGAFO-TE'O (Creator of "Bancy and Company")
and BANCY McMOUSER (Michael's Very First Cartoon Creation since 2003-ish)

P.S., Try Harder when You get a chance to see Disney & PIXAR's "Inside Out" on the BIG screen on Summer 2015!

My Gifted Drawings from Eric Goldberg

Created on Friday, April 24th, 2015 at 7:06 P.M.
Well, I Am Surprised that My Package from veteran Disney animator Eric Goldberg finally came in the mail on This Day on April 24th!!!
Here, Let Me Demonstrate for Animator's Sake --

I've Once Wrote Eric Goldberg a Fan Letter with matching drawing -- completed by Me on 10-Field Animation Paper -- and, yes, I've sent it to him then, while I was waiting for that doggone package, the other one came in first which is actually a "behind-the-scenes" booklet on The Oscar-winning Disney Animated Short Film of 2012 entitled "Paperman"!!!
Then, As of April 24th, 2015, I've Finally Received my Package from Eric Goldberg!!! WE'RE NUMBER ONE AND SO IS THE MODERN-DAY RETURN OF TRADITIONAL HAND-DRAWN ANIMATION!!!!  Originally, That Same Morning, I Was Bored after a FAILED attempt to record a re-run of "Kim Possible" on Thursday, April 23rd, 2015 and, while I was about to eat my lunch of 2 slices of leftover Deep Dish Pizza from Thursday Night while My Sister came home that same night, (luggage and all) I heard Mom's shriek claiming that IT has arrived at The Michael Igafo-Te'o Animation Studio Headquarters then, when I closed my eyes, I realized that My Package from Eric Goldberg FINALLY CAME!!! And, Besides the two letters that Mr. Goldberg wrote for Me and My Mom, Those Gifted Drawings within the package itself are...
No. 1 - My Request from Eric Goldberg of Fix-It Felix Jr. and Mickey Mouse giving each other a "High Four-and-a-Half" whose caption above them reads "Technology meets Art"
P.S., Notice the ACME Peg Holes on the bottom of this of my three gifted drawings that were drawn with pencil on 12-field animation paper entirely by Eric Goldberg himself
--------------------
No. 2 - My Second Gifted Drawing from Eric Goldberg, this time, of Louis the Alligator from Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" waving hello to me!
--------------------
No. 3 - My Third Gifted Drawing from Eric Goldberg with Aladdin's hilarious BFF, the Genie!
----
In BELATED-yet-Loving Memory of
ROBIN WILLIAMS
(1951-2014)
--------------------
I'm Glad That I'm Mounting each Drawing in its own large format photo frame that will be purchased in a set of four the my entire package from Eric Goldberg from Michaels in its low price!

P.S., Good Luck on your 60th Birthday on May 1st, 2015, Eric Goldberg!!!

No Ifs, Ands or Whatevers

CREATED on Sunday, April 19th, 2015
An Example of a "Roger Rabbit"-stylized Mixed Media Collage Artwork of Bancy with Mabel Pines,
Donald Duck's Nephews, (Huey, Dewey and Louie) and Tom the Cat surrounding Me as I was listening to
The 1996 "Brian Setzer Orchestra" Edition of the "AristoCats" song "Everybody Wants to Be a Cat"
which this 11-inch by 17-inch collage (developed on Autodesk SketchBook Express for the Digital 2D Drawings and
MS PowerPoint for the Live-Action Photo combined with the Digital 2D Drawings on a MacBook Pro laptop)
of Me with the toons under the "Bancy Gets REAL!" series entitled "Michael's Top Toons on The Loose!"
Sorry about the half-month delay but, this time, I've posted this final blog article for April 2015 and, of course, not only I've "ditched" that "Danny Phantom" to rediscover "SpongeBob SquarePants" on HD DVR (including "Skill Crane" and "The Krabby Chronicle") but I've also went on community outings to Marino's Pizza and More on Parnall Road in Jackson, Michigan and Chuck E. Cheese's of Lansing, Michigan during my girlfriend Hannah "Savannah" Garcia's 20th Birthday (even though Hannah is my female fiance) and, yes, Target at The Jackson Crossing Mall (after Target HQ's system finally got fixed and is rid of hackers) and McDonald's at West Avenue in Jackson, Michigan even though that McDonald's use to have a smaller "PlayPlace" soft play area but The Michigan Avenue Location in Jackson still has a PlayPlace soft play area -- unless that NEW "PlayPlace" soft play area already is taking over the old one?
An Actual Screenshot of a Eric Goldberg scene in The 1994
"Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote" Cartoon entitled
"Chariots of Fur" even though Eric Goldberg was given
a fake name by an executive of Chuck Jones Enterprises as
"Claude Raynes" -- Note that Wile E. Coyote is
about to get flattened with a boulder on top of his head!

I'm Currently working my Tradigital Animated student short film entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" which is based on my "Bancy and Company" ideas and those ideas will be later used for my full 8-minute hand-drawn animated cartoon entitled "Adam and Amy that Came to Lunch" where that film reveals that Mike Patterson has two twin sibling cousins, Adam and Amy Foxworthy, visiting from Jefferson City, Missouri -- even though that "Mouser City, Missouri" is a fictional city which is actually a combined caricature of "Traverse City, Michigan" and "Culver City, California" -- but unfortunately, Adam and Amy Foxworthy are driving Toby Ratwaller crazy while Bancy McMouser is relaxing in a hot tub at the BancyToon Filmworks animation studio's "indoor swimming pool" section of its "Cafe and Fitness Center" area -- until Mike stops the madness just in time!   Also, the tools to make an 8-minute hand-drawn animated short film are --
1. 7,000 Sheets of Pre-Punched Animation Paper (10-Field (8.5" x 11") or 12-Field (10.5" x 12.5") with your peg hole choice of "Acme" or "3-Round" or even "2-Round")
2. 50 Graphite Pencils (Palomino Blackwing and/or Dixon Ticonderoga or any other brand)
3. 50 Col-Erase Pencils ("RED" or "BLUE")
4. An Animation Light Box (10-Field or 12-Field)
5. A Line Tester Copy Stand (Buy One from rather Lightfoot or B&H Photo and Video or Make Your Own using wood, metal, a spare peg bar (ACME or 3-Round or 2-Round) and a Mint-Conditioned Webcam that runs on HD Quality
6. Animation Software for Digital Ink & Paint ("DigiCel FlipBook Lite" or "DigiCel FlipBook Studio" or "TVPaint Animation")
And, A WHOLE LOT OF INSPIRATION!!!!

Danny Phantom's a Goner!

CREATED on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at 5:56 PM

An OLD Jose-Ramiro drawing of Bancy having a "nightmare"
involving Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable being attacked
to their unwanted bloody death by Danny Fenton
much to Bonkers D. Bobcat's tears!
I'm Very Disappointed that Dad was playing the "Call of Duty Ghosts" video game (Rated "M" for Mature) and My Mom was watching CBS instead of letting me watch "Phineas and Ferb" so DANNY PHANTOM IS FIRED FOR BETRAYING ME BY ATTACKING KIM POSSIBLE and RON STOPPABLE and THEY HAD TO BE SENT TO THE TOON HOSPITAL TO GET REVIVED WHILE DANNY FENTON (a.k.a. DANNY PHANTOM) GETS LOCKED UP IN TOON JAIL FOR "THIRD DEGREE FEMALE ABUSE"!!!!

ALSO, I'VE DITCHED THAT "DANNY PHANTOM" CARTOON TO REDISCOVER "SPONGEBOB", THIS TIME, ON HD DVR!!!  THERE'S NO WAY I'M GOING BACK TO BEING PUBLIC ENEMY NO. 1 LIKE ON THAT "DANNY PHANTOM" CARTOON AND I ALREADY HATED "DANNY PHANTOM" FOR HIS GUTS!!!

Yours Sincerely,
MICHAEL A. IGAFO-TE'O - Animator with Autism
P.S., I Also Hated "Wreck-It Ralph" because THAT MOVIE was INDIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE for "Phineas and Ferb" being absent for "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero" for God's Sake!!!

Bancy and Fix-It Felix are on TRIAL?!?

A Hand-Drawn Sketch (using a purple "Crayola" erasable colored pencil for
the construction lines and a #2B pencil for the graphite lines) of Bancy
charging after Fix-It Felix Junior (well, after "Penn Zero" cancels "Phineas
and Ferb" on Disney XD) as he clubs him on the head with a wooden
baseball bat much to Joy's panic-attack! (notice the ACME peg holes)
One Spring Day, on Saturday, March 21st, 2015, Bancy McMouser was about to turn on the HDTV monitor to make sure that "Phineas and Ferb" is still on the air but it was too late when - OH NO! - "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero" has cancelled Phineas and Ferb's show and, as I type on my doggone keyboard, the blame was on that "Wreck-It Ralph" movie because not only Jared Bush and Sam Levine created that "Penn Zero" cartoon but Sam Levine was one of the people that worked on "Wreck-It Ralph" and Jared Bush is already placed as co-director for that upcoming "Zootopia" movie!  So this, of course, PISSED Bancy off as he is hell-bent for revenge against Fix-It Felix Junior when he starts chasing him with a wooden baseball bat to hit him on the head with it and, OH NO!  Security was called on and now Bancy and Fix-It Felix was put on TRIAL by order of the Council of Toons taking Joy (from Disney & PIXAR's "Inside Out") as Bancy's lawyer!

GOOFY GOOF: Fix-It Felix, Did You Really Stalk Bancy?!?
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: But Bancy hit me with a baseball bat and--
BANCY McMOUSER: OBJECTION, I SAY, OBJECTION!
DONALD DUCK: Sustained!
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIIOR: [Screams in Horror]
BANCY McMOUSER: I Have the Evidence on How This Happened --
[pulls out a DVD labeled "P&F on HDTV Before and After" and as he turns it on, it is a slideshow video of the "Phineas and Ferb" cartoon show before "Penn Zero" became popular in a shameless grab for successful ratings]
BANCY McMOUSER: Here's Kim Possible dating Ron Stoppable for the first time as seen on "Kim Possible the Movie - SO The Drama"...
[First Images slides away for Second Image]
BANCY McMOUSER: Here's Phineas and Ferb meeting KP and Ron...
[Second Image slides away for Third Image]
BANCY McMOUSER: Here's Phineas and Ferb already Disney XD's biggest toon stars but...
[Third Image slides away for Fourth Image where we see a teenaged Phineas and a teenaged Isabella already in love after the episode took place 10 years into the future]
BANCY McMOUSER: After "Act Your Age" was Phineas and Ferb's very last episode it was CANCELLED only to be replaced...
[Fourth Image slides away for the Fifth Image]
BANCY McMOUSER: ...with "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero" -- THAT NEW TOON ON DISNEY XD AND I HATE THAT WRECK-IT RALPH MOVIE FOR ITS GUTS!!!
[Goofy Goof hits a wooden coaster with his gavel]
GOOFY GOOF: We, the Council of Toons, have declared that Bancy and Fix-It Felix, after it turns out it was a mistake,...
BANCY McMOUSER: Huh?
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: What?!
GOOFY GOOF: ...they are both NOT GUILTY!
BANCY McMOUSER: YAY!!!!
JOY: Excellent Work, Mr. McMouser!
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: Uh-Oh! Goofy?
GOOFY GOOF: A-hyuck! Yes, Mister?
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: Does this mean I have to go back to my actual job at The Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California?
MICKEY MOUSE and DONALD DUCK: [altogether] YES!!!
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: YIPE! Ms. Calhoun?
TAMORA JEAN CALHOUN: Short Guy? Are You OK?
FIX-IT FELIX JUNIOR: Since We're A Married Couple, well...
[Fix-It Felix and Calhoun kiss each other on the mouth]
JURY: [In Awe] AWWW, Ain't That Love?
PHINEAS FLYNN: Yes, Yes It Is!
FERB FLETCHER: Well, Looks Like Our Work Here is Done! Right Mr. "I'm The New Toon on The Block"?
PENN ZERO: [to Ferb] Uh, Yes?
[Crowd and Jury altogether cheer and applause]

THAT'S IT FOR THE LAST OF THESE BLOG ARTICLES FOR MARCH 2015!!!

Happy (Belated) 8th Anniversary Bancy Studios

Happy (Belated) 8th Anniversary, Bancy Studios!

Joy as a Plushie REVEALED and
will be released on Disney Store Dot Com and,
yes, at Souvenir Shops at every Disney
Theme Park as they promote
the release of Disney &
PIXAR's "Inside Out" (Already coming to
cinemas everywhere on
Friday, June 18th, 2015
for Animator's Sake!)
I Am Proud to re-celebrate Michael Igafo-Te'o Film Productions' 8th Anniversary -- even though we're working on budgeting the money for renovating that small family-owned animation production company!  We did put a little 8-minute "behind-the-scenes" mockumentary short film on the process of traditional hand-drawn animation before and after as our plushie buddies (Bancy the 1st, Bancy the 2nd, Ollie "Bancy's Dad" the 1st and Vanellope von Schweetz) starting with a little musical opening whose song is actually the reprise of "Real in Rio" from Blue Sky Studios' "Rio" (produced by 20th Century Fox Studios) and, yes, we've already launched BancyTOON Podcast and its debut video which is actually the very first episode of my "BancyTOON Drawing Class" tutorial video series where I teach fellow cartoonists how to draw "Elastigirl" -- also known as "Helen Parr" -- from Disney & PIXAR's 2004 computer animated superhero movie entitled "The Incredibles"!!!

The Coming of Garage Geeks - Part I

Part One of "The Coming of Garage Geeks"

Visual Development Artwork of Michelle Finkle in her
Spring Outfit -- A Purple Shirt with Rolled-Up Sleeves,
A Pair of Pink Cargo Pants with matching Belt and
even Socks (not shown in this artwork)
and Black-and-White Converse Sneakers
While I am working on finish off "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" at Kit Young Center, I've Came Up with another "Bancy" pilot cartoon entitled "Garage Geeks", this time, using Inked-and-Painted Cel Animation for most of the scenes and Digital Inked-and-Painted Traditional Animation (via DigiCel FlipBook) for "multiplane effect" and "background pan" scenes and...

...I Did start with a rough set of storyboard sketches of the battle between Michelle Finkle and Mike's preteen sister Melanie Patterson but the rest didn't quite make it except I will start this "Garage Geeks" production with the story treatment first and, yes, the tools I need to make this 8-minute hand-drawn animated cartoon entitled "Garage Geeks" are actually --

  1. 7,000 Sheets of 12-Field ACME-Punched Animation Paper
  2. 50 Graphite Drawing Pencils (both "Palomino Blackwing" and "Dixon Ticonderoga" brands alike!)
  3. 50 Felt-Tip Pens (Non-Permanent Small-Tip Black "Paper Mate Flair S" ones Only!!!)
  4. 6,000 12-Field ACME-Punched Acetate Cels for the Inked-and-Painted Cel Animated Scenes (You Can Get These at Cartoon Colour Company Inc. for Art's Sake!)
  5. Two (or More?) Crow-Quill Fountain Dip Pens (for Cel Inking)
  6. One (or Two?) Packages of Spare Crow-Quill Pen Points
  7. Four (or more?) Colors of Speedball Acrylic Ink (Mine are Black, Green, Blue and Burnt Sienna)
  8. Spout-Capped Plastic Squeeze Bottles (and Plastic Jars/Glass Jars) of Cartoon Colour's Top Quality "Cel-Vinyl" Acrylics (for Cel Painting and Background Painting Too!)
  9. A Home-Made Animation Camera Stand (mine will be the smaller table top version of the home-made Oxberry animation camera stand)
  10. Software for Digital Ink & Paint (your choice of "DigiCel FlipBook" or "Adobe Flash" or other "2D-Animation"-related software such as "Toon Boom" and "TVPaint Animation")
  11. Software for Animation Cel Photography using Stop-Motion (My Choice of Stop-Motion Software is actually Aardman Animations' "Animate IT!" for Animator's Sake!!)
  12. A Computer (Your choice of "Mac OS X" or "Windows PC")
  13. A Digital HD Webcam (Suitable for Both "Mac OS X" and "Windows PC")
  14. and, yes, A LOT OF INSPIRATION!!!

To Be Continued!

"Warner Bros vs Disney" Rivalry STRIKES AGAIN!

THE "W-B vs. DISNEY" RIVALRY STRIKES AGAIN!!!

Created on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at 6:10 PM
R.I.P. Alwyn Walter "Walt" Peregoy (Born 11-17-1925 -- Died 1-16-2015)
BAD NEWS for DISNEY ANIMATION FANS...
I Know who'll replace "Wreck-It Ralph" on ABC Family's "Fun Day" Block even though I'm Recording it Sunday Night on 2-22-2015 it is...

..."Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York" and it has that hidden clip from the Chuck Jones-produced Dr, Seuss TV Special "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" in one of the scenes and...

...I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THE "LOONEY TUNES' CARTOONS!!!

Traditional Animation Training Days - Part II

We'll Miss You on Disney XD except We'll see your re-runs on
The Disney Channel, Phineas and Ferb!
(I Was SO Disgusted that "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero" replaced
"Phineas and Ferb" after it turns out that "Act Your Age"
(pictured above to your left) and 2 more episodes will be
Phineas and Ferb's LAST episodes!!!)
Not Only I Am Celebrating 65 Years of The 1950 Disney Animated Classic entitled "Cinderella" but, of course, This is Part Two of My Journal on My Own "Traditional Animation Training Days"!    I'm Busy Working on My Tradigital Animated Student Cartoon entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" whose key drawings are drawn on pencil and paper except the in-between drawings were done on computer using this software called "Adobe Flash", (I Like both "DigiCel FlipBook" and "Toon Boom" as alternatives to "Adobe Flash"!) I Did start with the storyboard sketches circa Autumn 2014 as my chance to revive my shelved concept of "Mike and Michelle's Perfect Date" which was "shelved" until further notice but, this time, the shelved project is now turned into a student cartoon entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" for Animator's Sake!
The Supplies I Needed for The Making of "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" are -- 12 RED Prismacolor "Col-Erase" Pencils for the ruffs, 12 Palomino "Blackwing 602" Pencils ("Half the Pressure, Twice the Speed") and 12 Dixon "Ticonderoga" Pencils to tie down the drawings, (Or more Ticonderoga Pencils?) A Battery-Operated Pencil Sharpener, Tons of 12-Field ACME-Punched Animation Paper from Light Foot, A Box of Superfine PaperMate Flair Felt-Tip Pens for the clean-up drawings, "Adobe Photoshop" software, "Adobe Flash" software and MORE YET TO COME!!!    I Sure Felt Sorry for Phineas and Ferb that their Emmy Award-winning Disney TV Cartoon Series are planned to be cancelled after three last episodes starting with "Act Your Age" to make room for newer Disney TV cartoons such as "Penn Zero Part-Time Hero", "Star vs. The Forces of Evil" and others including Disney XD's "Future Worm" and Disney Junior's "The Lion Guard" but, lucky for Phineas and Ferb, I Think they're coming up with a DVD Boxed Set of All 4 Seasons like when Disney Afternoon Fans wrote a petition to have Disney release "Kim Possible - The Complete 3rd and 4th Seasons" on DVD Boxed Set, this time, in Widescreen as originally showcased on 16x9 Widescreen TV Monitors.  Well, Some Student from Concord Schools named Jesse did "perfectly wonderful" on the digital background painting (see picture below to your right) and, yes, Jesse will also be the head of digital in-betweening and animation coloring using "Flash" software.
An Example of a Digital Background Painting of
the "South BancyVille Roller Rink and Arcade Center"
Entrance as digitally colorized by Jesse
(Notice the "accidental mistake" on the face and inner ears of
South BancyVille Roller Rink and Arcade Center's mascot
Pascal the Pastel Green Mouse!)

Even Though I'm planning the upcoming Bancy Studio renovation and that 8-minute hand-drawn animated BancySCOPIX 3D cartoon, I'll make sure that "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate!" will be in production by the time Jesse graduates from Concord Schools on May 2015 and, that way, the post-production work will be entered after a lot of animating, scanning, in-betweening, coloring and lip-synching!

Curses, TimeWarner!! I Swear I Saw a TOON-KILLER!!!

UPDATED on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at 7:28 AM
Much to Rocko the Rockhopper's horror and much to Wallace's tears,
They Feared that IF Warner Bros. Animation's "Happy Feet Two" is plotting to replace "Wreck-It Ralph"
on The Disney Channel, Fix-It Felix Junior and Vanellope von Schweetz will
end up getting theirs in such a controversial disaster!!!
OH NO! That Rumor I've Already Found on The OFFICIAL Disney Channel Online TV Schedule for February 2015 has it that Warner Bros. Animation's "Happy Feet Two" is scheduled on Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 to replace "Wreck-It Ralph" after its return on The Disney Channel on Monday, February 16th, 2015 and, OH NO!  It Already (accidentally) cause such "STUDIO RIVALRY" between Warner Bros. Animation (always better known as the "Termite Terrace") and Walt Disney Animation Studios!!!  Even though I Refused to Blame THIS on that "Jetsons" cartoon because I've already got used to that cartoon and already purchased a Judy Jetson plushie from Amazon Dot Com!!!

And after I "failed" to catch "Wreck-it Ralph" on The Disney Channel when Warner Bros. Animation's "Happy Feet Two" DID replace it, I Was so Emotionally Upset that I broke down and started crying my tears out and, as I type on my keyboard, the blame was on the "Looney Tunes" cartoons for crying out loud!    And...

...Here's a STUPID REMARK on The "Six Flags" Amusement Park Chain! --
"Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-... PISS OFF TimeWarner!!! -- YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!"
--------------------
Signed,
MICHAEL IGAFO-TE'O

P.S., That "Animaniacs" Cartoon has been driving Me FRICKIN' CRAZY THE WHOLE TIME SINCE I'VE GROWN TO HATE IT!!!!
2nd P.S., I Did Make a Plan to Re-Record "Wreck-It Ralph" on HD DVR, this time, on Sunday Night on ABC Family!

My Review on that "Art Thief" episode of ABC-TV's "Forever"

EDITED on Monday, February 9th, 2015 at 7:34 AM

I Know It would sound upsetting but I cannot believe that My Mom and Dad "ditched" my time on playing that "Disney Infinity" video game for watching ABC-TV's "Forever" on HD DVR and, you know what?!? -- I BLAME "THE REPLACEMENTS" FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!
"Aw, You Poor Thing,...   Why the Mope?"
This is an actual screenshot from a "Bugs Bunny and Witch Hazel" cartoon
as directed by legendary Warner Bros. animator, Chuck Jones (1912-2002)
"I Can't Believe That I'm Seeing This 'FILTH' for Crying Out Loud!" said Phineas with a sense of revenge against Todd and Riley Daring, "I Am Sick of 'The Replacements' because Agent K is a RIP-OFF of 'Kim Possible', Dick Daring is an idiot and worse -- Todd and Riley are plotting revenge against Kim Possible and Me!".   "PHINEAS! ENOUGH WITH 'THE REPLACEMENTS' ALREADY!!" snapped Bancy McMouser angrily as I was hovering under the covers from my doom on that "Art Thieving Nazi" episode of "Forever", "YOU KNOW WHAT PHINEAS?!? I CAN'T STAND TODD & RILEY DARING FOR THEIR GUTS BECAUSE THEY WERE TRYING TO 'ATTACK' YOU AND KP TO A MILLION PIECES!!!"    Bancy McMouser (one of my cartoon creations) thinks that not only that "The Replacements" was a RIP-OFF of "Kim Possible" (and, yes, a rip-off of the "Spy Kids" movies) but He also thinks that IT contains some random acts of assault on female characters, (for example of when Todd slaps Riley in her face in the "Field Trippin'" episode and when the invisible ninjas 'attack' Agent K to her doom until Dick Daring, even though Agent K and Dick accidentally switched bodies with some machine, saved Agent K from her doom in the "Buzzwork Orange" episode) a few acts reckless behavior (for example of when Todd drops Riley's "Dustin Dreamlake" plate to shattered pieces in the "Garage Sale Daring" episode) and a couple acts of such "horny" conflicts between Jacobo and Agent K (for example when Jacobo claims that he's in love with Todd's Super Spy Mom in the "Late Night with Todd and Riley" episode and even imagines growing a giant venus fly trap that the giant venus fly trap itself swallows Dick Daring whole and Agent K, crying over the loss of her beloved daredevil husband, doomed to be Jacobo's future wife in the "Todd-Busters" episode even though it was just Jacobo's imagination -- Man That Jacobo is SO HORNY over Agent K!!!)
With apologies to Disney animator Ron Husband but Sunday, February 8th, 2015 was his 65th Birthday!
And Here is a "close-up photo" of some little 1-ounce jars of Cel-Vinyl Paint as ordered in custom colors by

Traditional Animation Training Days - Part I

My Own 12-Field "PRO-GRADE" Acrylic Animation Disc
that I've bought from Cartoon Colour for $300
on Christmas 2012 -- Notice the
Red-and-Yellow Sharpie Marker Decor on
the "top" and "bottom" sliding "Acme" peg bars and, yes,
the Bancy Studios sticker logo on the top sliding pegbar
(Sorry that the "Bancy Studios" sticker logo is covered by
a sheet of 12-Field animation paper with a hand-drawn
"Don Bluth"-style TV cut-off/Theater cut-off matte frame
("The Outer 4x3 Frame is what Older TVs will see but
Theaters will crop the top and bottom off IF they're using
widescreen! -- Television will cut off, so will the theaters")
Finally, Here I've Typed Up a Little Something (well, after finally having my "tradigital" animated student cartoon short film entitled "One Crazy Date to Roller Skate" out of the Bancy Studio vault and into production at my "animation" division at Kit Young Center in Jackson, Michigan) is actually Part One of My Blog Journal on "My Traditional Animation Training Days" for Animator's Sake!

The "Tools of the Trade" to make my very own 8-minute hand-drawn animated cartoon in Red/Cyan Anaglyph 3D are --

  1. A 12-Field Guide from Cartoon Colour (NTSC Full Screen -- I Used to have the 16x9 Widescreen Chromacolour 12-Field Guide with the "falsified" Acme Peg Holes but, that exact same Chromacolour 12-Field Guide was Missing in Action! OH NO!!)
  2. 7,000 Sheets of 12-Field ACME-Punched Animation Paper -- Notice that the "12-Field" Size is 10-1/2 inches by 12-1/2 inches for Animator's Sake!))
  3. "Toon Boom Storyboard Pro" Software (for Digital Storyboard Sketching)
  4. 50 RED Prismacolor "Col-Erase" Pencil for the "rough drawings"
  5. 50 Graphite Pencils in both Dixon "Ticonderoga" and Palomino "Blackwing" Brands to tie down the drawings ("Half the Pressure" and "Twice the Speed" on all Blackwing Pencils!)
  6. 50 Non-Permanent "Paper-Mate Flair" Felt-Tip Pens (Just the "Ultra Fine" point tip size for doing "clean-up animation drawings")
  7. 5 "Latex-Free" Kneaded Erasers (for those that have "latex allergies" that is!)
  8. An "RPS Lighting RS-C920" Line Tester Copy Stand with working HD Webcam for Mac Users (to "shoot animation drawings into my MacBook Pro laptop computer using "DigiCel FlipBook" software)
  9. "DigiCel FlipBook" Software for Mac Users (Someday during 2015 to 2016, I'll Upgrade My "Mac OS X" Copy of "DigiCel FlipBook" from its "Lite" version to the student animator/junior animator-friendly "Studio" version when I have the money to do so)
  10. "iMovie" Video Editing Software for Post-Production "Online Video Editing"
  11. Aiseesoft Technologies' "3D Converter" App to convert 2D to Anaglyph 3D (IF I'm Using My Own Red/Cyan anaglyph "BancySCOPIX 3D" Process?)
  12. Packages of Blank "DVD+R" Video Discs for Exporting The Final Cut to DVD complete with Red/Cyan "BancySCOPIX 3D" Glasses purchased from the Rainbow Symphony Store!!!

And, to make my own 8-minute hand-drawn animated cartoon in BancySCOPIX 3D, with my "tools of the trade" already listed above,...

...Here's My Own Hand-Drawn Animation Process IF I'm using My Own Red/Cyan Anaglyph "BancySCOPIX 3D" Process --
Remember This Digitally-Colored Drawing
of Mr. Jinks the Cat as a layout artist working on
the character designs for "Scooby-Doo"
that was hand-drawn on pencil and paper before being
scanned into a computer for digital coloring for
the now-defunct "Funamation" website which guides
Hanna-Barbera fans to explore the H-B traditional
animation process originally updated in The Mid-1960's
until the "analog" age of Hanna-Barbera animation
was upgraded with Digital Ink & Paint software and
computers altogether taking over the ink and paint step
in the early 2000's shortly before the merge with
Warner Bros. Animation???

  1. Script Treatment
  2. Scratch Track Dialogue Recording (for Storyboard Reel)
  3. Storyboard
  4. Voice Recording
  5. Track Reading (on Exposure Sheets a.k.a. X-Sheets or Dope Sheets)
  6. Layout Design (on Characters and Backgrounds)
  7. Ruff Animation (Rough Drawings)
  8. Rough Pencil Test
  9. Clean-Up Animation (Cleaned-Up Drawings)
  10. Final Pencil Test
  11. Background Scanning and Digital Background Painting
  12. Animation Scanning
  13. Digital Color Model Design
  14. Computerized Ink & Paint and Digital Compositing
  15. Online Film Editing and Post-Production Sound
  16. Export to Digital Video File and 2D-to-3D Converting (in both Red/Cyan "BancySCOPIX" and Magenta/Green "Trioscopics" Versions via Aiseesoft's "3D Converter" App)
  17. Post-Production Final Video Editing on 3D Versions of that average "Bancy" cartoon that would've been the "Final Cut"
  18. Digital Film Transfer to DVD using Blank "DVD+R" Discs with matching 3D Glasses (The First Half of "Red/Cyan" 3D Glasses and the other of "Magenta/Green" 3D Glasses)

The 8-Minute Hand-Drawn Animated "BancySCOPIX 3D" Cartoon I'm Planning to work on is something called "The Untitled BancySCOPIX 3D Cartoon Project" which will start pre-production from Spring 2015 until Summer 2018! (or Autumn 2018 or Spring 2019?)

CURSE YOU, CRAZY RED-HEAD!!! -- Bancy Studios vs. Riley Daring?!?

Vintage 2014 Artwork of Tom the Cat strangling Riley Daring --
HOMER SIMPSON STYLE!!!
Not Only I've (Almost) Forgot about That One Kim Possible entitled "The Twin Factor" (where KP takes her twin brothers on a mission) being recorded on HD DVR but after I was mourning over the loss of KP's original re-runs on Disney XD (thanks to that Canadian paperless animated TV cartoon entitled "Camp Lakebottom" canceling KP's Disney XD re-runs!) -- It Turns Out that "Girl Meets World" is scheduled to REPLACE "Kim Possible" and, as I type on my keyboard, The BLAME was on Riley Daring from "The Replacements"!!!    "I Cannot Believe that I'm Seeing This 'FILTH' about This "Riley Matthews' person driving Kim Possible frickin' crazy!" snapped Tom angrily.   "YOU SHUT UP YOUR MOUTH!" Donald Duck shouted at Tom, "BECAUSE THE BLAME WAS ON THAT "RILEY DARING" CHARACTER -- ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!  I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY LONGER!!!!!!"   So, After hearing from Donald Duck, an angry and disappointed Tom sneaks up to Riley Daring and strangles her in a "Homer Simpson"-like fashion! (see picture above) That did it! -- First; "Girl Meets World" replaces "Kim Possible" on The Disney Channel then Some of the Toons of ToonTown blame this "FILTH" on Riley Daring!!!

Horror of All Horrors -- Donald sees Tom strangling Riley!!!
this is an actual Screenshot from the actual 1955 Donald Duck cartoon entitled"No Hunting" -
Color Format - CinemaScope Widescreen (2.55:1)
Even though I've remembered that one "Kim Possible" episode entitled "The Twin Factor" where KP takes her twin brothers (Jim and Tim Possible -- a.k.a. The "Tweebs") on a mission was already recorded on HD DVR in its original 16x9 widescreen format (as previously aired on The Disney Channel on older Widescreen TV monitors before HD TV monitors and HD systems came in on 2005) and the rumor about "The Replacements" replacing "Kim Possible" turns out to be FAKE! So, they've decided that It was WRONG to treat Riley Daring like a villainess for Animator's Sake!

Traditional Animation BEFORE and AFTER

A Bancy Studio "Original Celluloid Acetate Painting" of
Bancy, Toby, Joy, Danny Fenton, Sam Manson,
Tom the Cat, Fix-It Felix, Jr. and Mike and Michelle as
animation trainees for Don Bluth's garage studio while
"Banjo the Woodpile Cat" was in Pre-Production from 1975
until it was released on 1979 that was sold to
Rachel Zaracki-Cummings of Jackson, Michigan, U.S.A.
To Celebrate the GRAND OPENING of My New Blogger Page entitled "The BancyTOON World of Michael Igafo-Te'o -- Here's an article on The Traditional Animation Process BEFORE and AFTER --
1. SCRIPT -- The Idea is first made as a "script treatment" by the writer of a traditionally animated project rather a short film or a TV episode or even a fully-animated feature film using a typewriter but, nowadays, the script treatment for an animated cartoon is now made on a computer.

2. STORYBOARD -- After the "Script Treatment" for a traditionally animated project is approved, tons of sketches are drawn on paper and are put up on a cork board -- some of the animated cartoons have their story sketches drawn by computer using "Toon Boom Storyboard" software.

3. VOICE RECORDING -- While the Storyboard is being prepared, the voices were recorded onto magnetic audio film by the voice actors and voice actors before an "animatic" is created (originally the "leica reel" is the animatic's ancestor) but as of the 2000's, voice recorded is now done on Audio Cassette Tapes and currently on Audio Compact Discs/CDs and/or Audio Editing Software.

4. ANIMATIC -- The Storyboard Sketches are then made into an "Animatic" or "lecia reel" using rather an analog animation camera or a scanner and video editing software. Notice that my storyboards are done on "Toon Boom Storyboard Pro".

5. TRACK READING -- A Track Reader listens to the dialogue as that person writes down every vowel and consultant on the "dialogue" column of an "exposure sheet" using the voice recording on magnetic audio film but currently track reading for traditional animation is now done with Audio Cassette Tapes, Audio CDs and Audio Editing Software.

6. LAYOUT -- The Layout Artist designs every character in their poses, model sheets and notes along with those of the props and even the background sketches on landscapes and interior areas in both horizontal and vertical pans but most of the backgrounds are stiff and standard.

7. ANIMATION -- The Animators animate the characters (and props) in rough "key" drawings, in-betweens and, after the rough pencil test is approved, the clean-up animation is done using rather a superfine non-permanent ink pen or a graphite pencil but nowadays as of the 1990's, clean-up animation is done by placing a clean sheet of animation paper over the rough drawing and is traced onto the drawing using rather a superfine non-permanent ink pen or a graphite pencil.

8. INK and PAINT -- Originally in the Past, Animators' Drawings were traced onto clear sheets of plastic called "cels" but as of 1960, Animators' drawings are "photocopied" onto clear acetate cels using the state-of-the-art XEROX cel copying process then, following the right colors on a "color model sheet", the other people paint the back of each cel using acrylic paint (or in my case, Cartoon Colour's top quality "Cel-Vinyl" acrylics) but as of 1990, line tester video camera operators scan animators' drawings into computers using animation software then the animation drawings are colored inside the lines by computer following the right colors for each character (and prop) on a "digital color model" then comes Digital Compositing! Nowadays, The Best "Digital Ink & Paint" Software for MODERN Traditional Animation are "Adobe Flash", "Toon Boom Harmony", (formerly "USAnimation" then "Toon Boom Opus") "TV Paint Animation", and, yes, "DigiCel FlipBook"!!! -- Notice that "FlipBook" is My Favorite Software for Digital Ink & Paint and Compositing for Modern Traditional Animation!

9. BACKGROUND PAINTING -- The Artists paint Backgrounds using bristol board sheets painted with watercolor and/or acrylic paint (or sometimes this oil-based gouache paint?! -- YUCK!) as those same artists follow the look of the background layout sketch rather standard and/or panoramic. Nowadays, background paintings are scanned into computers after the digital ink & paint work on the animation is done or sometimes animators scan background layout sketches into non-animation software (including "Adobe Photoshop" and "Autodesk Sketchbook") to trace the outlines of the B.G. sketch onto a clean "digital layer" then color the background in a layer underneath the outlines just like the people at Golden Street Animation (owned by animator Scott T. Petersen) does Digital Background Paintings.

10. CAMERA -- The Animation Camera Operator, while following the "camera instructions" on the exposure sheet, takes a picture of a single frame of animation onto a single frame of motion picture film (some 16mm but mostly 35mm for art's sake!) by placing the cel over the top of a background and the picture is taken and the process repeated frame-by-frame (Notice that in The U.S.A. and Canada, There's a total of 24 frames per second of NTSC film but in Great Britain and Ireland and even European countries outside North America, It's 30 frames per second of PAL film!!!)

11. FILM EDITING -- After the Film is developed in the film laboratory, The Film Editor makes the "final cut" using negative cutting and, after the negative cutting is completed throughout the entire traditionally animated project in one or two film editors (or, in the case of the features, it's three to four film editors?) the finished film before printing is viewed on a film editing machine called a "moviola".  Nowadays, we take computers and "Avid" editing software to help film editing enter the "digital" era of the motion picture post-production process before the film is plotted onto motion picture film stock using a film recorder (rather "Celco" or "Lasergraphics" or the Arri camera company's very own film recording units!) before and after post-production services.

12. SOUND DUBBING -- After the negatives are produced, The Sound Dubber combines the picture with dialogue tracks, sound effect tracks and music tracks the OLD way from the early days of sound movies until the early 2000's when sound dubbing and foley recording goes "digital". (my cases of analog sound dubbing are Disney's sound designer Jimmy McDonald, Warner Bros. Animation's Treg Brown and Hanna-Barbera's very own sound editors!)  Nowadays, Sound Foley Recording, Sound Mixing and ADR Dubbing is produced using state-of-the-art technology (thanks to the massive success of Lucasfilm's first "Star Wars" movie of the late 1970's) instead of using analog film.

13. FILM PRINTING and DISTRIBUTION -- The Printer Person prints the completed film onto multiple rolls of motion picture film stock before the traditionally animated project is ready for distribution and release in theaters and/or television.  Nowadays film printing after post-production editorial stuff is done using film recorders (mentioned on Step No. 11 earlier) and film lab developing machines long since the 1990's when computers take part of the film editing process even though some movie moguls, in the cases of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, still use analog film editing using their moviola machines and analog film editing equipment!

Glad You Loved This "Before and After"-style of The Traditional Animation Process!
